BEST = Board of European Students of Technology.
• What do BEST member do?
Board of European Students of Technology is a non profit student organisation. Run by students, working for students. Our purpose is to promote Europe among Europeans.

BEST Sofia is a group of students from the Technical University Sofia, working hard for making possible for all the other students to participate in the BEST Courses for FREE. We are also organizing many different local events for the career future of the students.

• How to become a BEST Sofia member?
You want to make your life more exciting……you feel that you want to become a BEST member and you are ready to devote your free time to this unusual organisation!?! Just follow these steps
3. BEST Courses
• Is it necessary to be a BEST member to attend the BEST courses?
It is not necessary at all to be a BEST member…. All the students from the Technical University -Sofia are eligible and allowed to apply for participation in the BEST courses. BEST members are the students who stay behind the courses and behind BEST and who are responsible for all these things happening.
• Do I have to pay something for participating in a BEST course?
All the academic courses are FREE of charge for students from Technical University Sofia. If there is a fee mentioned it do NOT apply for you. The only things that you have to pay are the travel expenses to the place where the course is taking place and the health insurance for going abroad.
• How much is the deposit for the BEST Courses?
As well all the students are asked of a deposit which for Technical University - Sofia is 30 Euros /60 leva/, but you must know that this is just a deposit and you’ll receive it back after the evaluation form of the course. If you attend the course but don't fill the evaluation form then you’ll receives back only half of the deposit.
• What should I do in order to participate in a BEST course?
1. Go to the BEST application system.
2. Enter your email address and your password.
If you do not have an account, register here.
3. Then contact us at Sofia@BEST.eu.org and ask to validate your account.
4. Enter the application to the BEST application system.
5. Read the Never Alone Guide
6. Pay the deposit if you were accepted to one of the courses.
7. Arrange everything for your travel to the course.
8. Participate in the event (actively following the program prepared by the organisers).
9. Pay the fee if there is any.
10. Evaluate the course on BEST application system (after participating in it).

4. BEST Career
How can I publish my CV on the “BEST” site?
First of all you have to sign up at http://career.bestsofia.org.All you need to do is to write a valid e-mail account and a password. After that you will receive an activation link and… congratulations you are registered. The next step is to sign in and you will see an easy-to-fill-in online ”BEST-CV”, which you can change at any time you want.
What I gain by publishing my CV?
By publishing your CV it becomes immediately visible to all the companies, who have accounts in “BEST Career”. So if you are an appropriate candidate, you could be contacted by them without doing anything else.
How can I apply for a job?
One option, of course, is to publish your CV and to wait ‘anxiously’ for a company to contact you, but being the passive side is not a good choice for a young professional especially when you have seen your ‘dreamt’ position among the offers on the site. The other opportunity you have is to see the list of all our partner-companies together with available positions and by clicking on them you will find all their requirements and contact information. After that – it is up to you!
